Therapeutic Breast Ultrasound

Service Description

Comprehensive breastfeeding consultation including ultrasound therapy treatment of mastitis or blocked ducts. Therapeutic ultrasound is treatment for mastitis and ductal narrowing (sometimes called plugged ducts) using high frequency sounds waves to create movement, warmth and increased blood flow to reduce swelling and inflammation. Ultrasound therapy is most effective when applied in short sessions on two to three consecutive days. Additional sessions (after the first consult) for ultrasound therapy are charged at the rate of $50 per session. Repeat home visits must be within 20kms of North Lakes. Clinic appointments are open to all clients.

Cancelation Policy

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations with more than 24 hours notice incur no charges. Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice incur 50% of booking fee. Cancellation without notice (i.e not attending booked appointment) incurs 100% of booking fee.
