Service Description

Comprehensive breastfeeding consultation including ultrasound therapy treatment of mastitis or blocked ducts. Therapeutic ultrasound is treatment for mastitis and ductal narrowing (sometimes called plugged ducts) using high frequency sounds waves to create movement, warmth and increased blood flow to reduce swelling and inflammation. Ultrasound therapy is most effective when applied in short sessions on two to three consecutive days. I am a health professional who will provide safe and supportive care for all family, birthing and feeding preferences. I am a proud member of Homebirth Queensland and the ACON Welcome Here Project. I provide Lactation Consultant home visits to families on the North side of Brisbane. I regularly visit suburbs within 20km of North Lakes such as: Mango Hill, Rothwell, Deception Bay, Narangba, Burpengary, Morayfield, Kippa Ring, Redcliffe, Scarborough, Margate, Woody Point, Brighton, Sandgate, Dakabin, Kurwongbah, Kallangur, Murrumba Downs, Petrie, Joyner, Whiteside, Warner, Bray Park, Strathpine, Brendale, Nudgee, Bald Hills, Carseldine, Taigum and other nearby suburbs. I also visit suburbs 20 - 30km of North Lakes such as: Caboolture, Elimbah, Moodlu, Wamuran, Bellmere, Ocean View, Dayboro, Samsonvale, Mount Samson, Cedar Creek, Samford, Ferny Hills, Arana Hills, Kedron, Keperra, Everton Park, Stafford, Northgate and other nearby suburbs. If your suburb is not listed and it is within the appropriate travel radius please feel free to book online. Often regional areas do not have a local Lactation Consultant available for Home Visits.
