Service Description
The breastfeeding consultation includes taking a comprehensive history of both you and your baby/babies. We will look at your baby’s growth, weight and general wellbeing. When appropriate, we will observe a breastfeed together and discuss how feeding is going. There will be time to discuss your concerns and feeding goals. By the end of this consult, we will have some strategies to address any concerns and improve feeding. Ideally, baby will be ready to feed around the time of the consultation, so that we can observe a feed together. This consultation fee includes the initial appointment. Additional follow up is available as requested and will incur additional fees. The consult may be eligible for a Medicare rebate if you are within 6 weeks of birth and you are Medicare eligible. The average Medicare rebate is $90. Rebates are governed by Services Australia and are outside of my control.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to reschedule or cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations with more than 24 hours notice incur no charges. Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice incur 50% of booking fee. Cancellation without notice (i.e not attending booked appointment) incurs 100% of booking fee.
