Service Description
An individual education and planning session to help you achieve your feeding goals. Perfect for first time mothers and for women who have had a previous difficulty breastfeeding experience. Depending on your needs, we can discuss: • what to expect in the first days after birth • normal infant feeding behaviors • identifying infant feeding cues • optimal breastfeeding positioning • how to know if your baby is getting enough milk • how to hand express breast milk • management of common breastfeeding problems • managing potential problems with latch, milk supply, after breast surgery and chronic illness. This consultation fee includes the initial appointment. Additional follow up is available as requested and will incur additional fees. The consult may be eligible for a Medicare rebate if you are pregnant and you are Medicare eligible. The average Medicare rebate is $60. Rebates are governed by Services Australia and are outside of my control.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to reschedule or cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations with more than 24 hours notice incur no charges. Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice incur 50% of booking fee. Cancellation without notice (i.e not attending booked appointment) incurs 100% of booking fee.
